The Internet in Africa: How much do governments matter;

Last week, I went on TechFreedom’s brand-new Tech Policy Podcast to talk about a topic that deserves far more attention than it’s received to date: The continued growth and deployment of the Internet in Africa. There’s a flood of innovation happening in Africa, particularly on mobile networks, and the issues we discussed in the podcast should be a source of hope and optimism for anyone who cares about the Internet, Africa, and the developing world more broadly.
