When a new engineer joins a team they most often bring energy, drive, curiosity, and creativity. It’s refreshing and stimulating, and it’s why I love working with new engineers: their energy helps foster an openness to new ways of doing things.
Through the years, I have enjoyed giving advice to these new hires. In exchange I’ve learned quite a bit, too.
