THE VICE PRESIDENT: Thank you so very much. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, and I want to thank Arthur Brooks for that mercifully short introduction. You said 20 seconds; I think it was actually shorter.
But I appreciate him so much, his friendship. So to Arthur, to the board of trustees, to the esteemed scholars that are gathered here today, to all the distinguished guests, it is an honor to be here at the new headquarters of the American Enterprise Institute.
