President-elect Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th U.S. president on Wednesday at noon during a ceremony that will look drastically different from years past due to the Covid-19 pandemic and security concerns following the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Bucking long-standing American tradition, President Donald Trump will not attend Biden’s inauguration ceremony and will instead fly to Florida Wednesday morning.
